1925 Production of gold rings is taken up

1939 Beginning of World War II. The factory produces warfare materials.

1940 Disc springs are added to the range.

1945 Occupation by allied forces, shutdown and dismantling of the production facilities.
Substantial losses. Then production is gradually resumedwith a stuff of less than 20.

1949 Re-organisation of the firm into a company – Ringfabrik Christian Bauer KG.

1950 The company employs about 200 people.
The sales network which had started ou before 1939 with a jewellery distributor
in Switzerland is enlarged by 11 more representatives in Europe and 12 in
countries overseas.

1951 The first company-owned housing facilities for staff members are built.

1952- Organisation of a network of domestic sales outlets for disc springs.
At the same time the first sales agencies are established in Denmark and Switzerland

1955 The staff has increased to 350.

1961 Construction of a new production building which was extended in 1968 and 1976.

1964 Construction of a modern precious-metal refinery.

1967 The disc spring sales network comprises 14 countries.

1968 Establishment of a sales subsidiary for jewellery in France, as well as field offices
1969 in the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway.

1971 Commissioning of a new jewellery manufacturing plant designed to highest
Contemporary standards.

1974 The company stats processing platinum at a larger scale and enters the
diamond trade.

1976 Founding member of Platingilde Germany

1978 Organisation of a disc spring sales company in Pittsburg, USA

1979 Formation of a sales company for disc springs in Studley, United Kingdom

1984 Founding member of DELAN, Japan

1989 Formation of a jewellery sales company in Melbourne/FL/USA

1989 Founding member Platinum Guild USA
